waiting for a boxset for dexter which will hopefully come out same time as season 8 is released. i imagine it wont be cheap though seeing as though on amazon.com season 1-6 bundled together is $164. i expect it wont be any less then £100 for all the seasons if a boxset comes out in the uk

The U.S. are getting this awesome set! I hope we get something similar here at a decent price. Held out on buying the separate seasons for something like this, the box better be very well made for $300.

Thanks for this. With shipping my US order was closer to USD390 and then there's a pretty strong chance customs would add their usual fees on top with Post Officce etc all adding their cuts too. At £150 this makes the US edition look a bargain.

Wish it wasn't Zavvi though. They've been pretty unreliable in the past and their shipping takes forever.

At $390 for the box set with shipping with the exchange rate at £1-$1.50 on average you are paying £260, this does not include the customs charges and lets not forget the beloved £8 administration charge.
It's cheaper to get the UK box set by over £110.
I just need season 8 which I will get when it hits my price tracker target.

Would like to get the Zavvi blood slide set as it looks so cool, just watched the last episode was quite good I won't spoil it for anyone else, looking forward to rewatching this season when it comes out.

Sorry, but this show is the one the best examples of 'How To Go Downhill after a good few seasons'. Seasons 1-4 were entertaining late friday night television. Specially season 4. But then the show drastically went downhill in quality.

Character development was weak, familiar plotting was used. Dexter's musings because more repetitive and the dark humour that was prevalent through the first four seasons because non existent. I don't know what happened, if some writers left after season 4 or something but I will NOT be buying this or bothering to rewatch it. I don't even mind being spoiled about the finale. Boo to Dexter

Well, that's simply a matter personal opinion, just like all art forms. I've loved it all the way through and thought Season 7 the best.
