Default Digital copies don’t have imax?

I converted all my Physical movies to digital copies and realized the dark knight doesn’t have that awesome imax feature. Is this with all digital copies? Why? Will it come back? Can it be added later? It’s definitely a feature I’ll be missing. All my digital copies are iTunes and 4K fyi

Apparently Nolan dictates whether iMax is include for his movies or not on digital.

You can see some conversation on this here:

It would be better to give the user the option of turning in off shifting aspect ratio in the settings. That is a reason to buy physical media for Nolan movies because the IMAX scenes are untouched.

So my next question. Do digital movies have imax in general. Just not. Nolan’s?

Technically nothing prevents digital movies from having "Imax" as you call it (which on home media is really just a change of the aspect ratio).

IMAX sequences on blu-ray is a joke! If you want to see the real McCoy, go to a IMAX theater.

A certain Retailer does have Spider-Man: Far from Home with Shifting Aspect Ratios exclusive to them. It depends on the filmmaker/company.

I'd more venture to say it's just the movie, since I've heard the Shifting AR on that movie in particular was part of the DCP, had no intention of being in a single 'Scope aspect.

Good thing we all have an IMAX theater in the backyard at our will and beckon....

Fandangos IMAX stream of Spider-Man FFH looks fantastic, it's my preferred way to watch it.

Aquaman also has shifting AR on all services.

By any chance, is there an ongoing list of digital movies with IMAX aspect ratio switching scenes?
