Since it wont be revealed until IFA2021, which is next September, it's safe to assume it wont be available for purchase until 2022.

The more competition in the OLED market the better. Hopefully they are making their own OLED panels or is everyone buying OLED panels from LG only? Does LG have exclusive legal rights to only make the OLED screens, and that is why everyone buys from LG to make their OLED TV’s? It would be nice to see other companies make OLED screens if they have the legal right to do so. Also hopefully all the HDR formats are offered like HDR10+ and Dolby Vision HDR.

OLED has absolute black levels that no other flat panel technology can match. They just need to improve on the brightness level so that one day HDR tone mapping is no longer needed.

Also we will have to see if QD-OLED is worse or better then OLED when it is released. Some claim QD-OLED is not as good as OLED, while others say there is a wider color gamut with QD-OLED.

LG makes all OLED panels used today

Samsung will be making QD-OLED panels

Another manufacturing method is going on line: IJP OLED: Ink Jet Printed OLED.

So based on the above statement in BOLD, (if 1 + 1 =2) then TCL is using Samsung panels for their QD-OLED release?
