Maybe for the Kubrick influenced 60s scenes at the Lady Astronaut Academy or whatever, but most of the film didn't strike particularly visually interesting. This being a German release it may be one of these bogus conversion which are not worth it.

Are the so-called German "bogus 3D conversions" any better than what some TVs generate with internal 2D to 3D outputs or are the German "bogus conversions" better? Wouldn't a German "bogus 3D conversion" need approval from the studio/production company?

I've only seen one German "bogus 3D conversion" and it's pretty similar to the useless 2D to 3D converter some TVs have.

3D on this one 0/5 it was non-existent never seen a worse 3D release in my life. We actually switched to the 2D version. Luckily the movie was really good.

I got one question. Does the 3D German release also come with the extras? I have seen the back cover and searched through the internet and there's no information about it

Wow, 0/5 for the 3D. That's a bummer. Thanks for the info.

Anybody else buy Predestination in 3D since 2015? is it as unwatchable as this thread suggests. this movie was really cool and I'm tempted to import. Just want to confirm that the 2d version is better than the 3d version. I have no experience with autoconverts. Are they really that bad?!?

Yes. Of 350+ 3DBRs, I rated this one 1/2 star out of 5 (only because my database doesn’t allow 0 stars). It’s not 3D. It’s just 2D pushed back in the screen. Like a poster above, I also switched to watching it in 2D. Truly the worst of the worst imho.

OK I guess one movie has to hold the title of the worst 3D. It's a shame that it's this one. I guess I was predestined to NOT import
