Are the so-called German "bogus 3D conversions" any better than what some TVs generate with internal 2D to 3D outputs or are the German "bogus conversions" better? Wouldn't a German "bogus 3D conversion" need approval from the studio/production company?

I've only seen one German "bogus 3D conversion" and it's pretty similar to the useless 2D to 3D converter some TVs have.

3D on this one 0/5 it was non-existent never seen a worse 3D release in my life. We actually switched to the 2D version. Luckily the movie was really good.
