I don't know if I could come up with 20 movies, but I liked the fact that in your list it included a lot of "classics". Usually all you hear is Batman, Ironman, Hulk, blah, blah, blah....you know...the flavour of the day!

Whew! That was hard. These are movies I enjoy watching a number of times. I've had them in several formats and will get them in Blu-ray when/if they arrive. (I guess Field of Dreams, Hitchhiklers Guide, and Watchmen are the only ones, so far, with Love Actually coming out in November.)

Lists that do not contain 2001 and Raging Bull still amaze me because they are universal masterpieces. I guess my other favourites are more personal in nature.

You have to remember that this is "favourite" films, not necessarily best. While I appreciate both films, I find the stories themselves harder to identify with and enjoy on repeated viewings.

That being said, the docking sequence in 2001: A Space Odyssey is worth the price of the blu all by itself.
