I was a fan of Bjork for a long time, and got to see her live on the Post tour. After Vespertine and Selmasongs she started losing me. When my local arthouse showed this, I went out of curiousity more than anything, and I was wildly disappointed. Watching her stand there, barely moving, resorting to reading her own lyrics from a multitude of teleprompters that rose from the stage depending on her position onstage seemed lazy. One would think that an art piece of this magnitude would warrant months of rehearsal, and in turn, enough care to memorize the lyrics the artist herself wrote. She also seems to have no interest in writing songs with melodies anymore. Hard pass.

I saw a few shows on the Cornucopia tour, and I thought the film captured the show beautifully. Really glad it's getting a 4k release. But, unless I'm reading it wrong, there's no confirmation of whether it has HDR or not?

Fair enough not to be interested if you don't like her artistic direction lately, but the show is beautifully staged and will no doubt make for a lovely home theatre presentation. But, chastising her for having a prompter in case she needs it isn't so different from giving out about a pianist or violinist using sheet music.

As someone who was in a band for nearly a decade, I never once had to use sheet music for my piano parts nor lyrics sheets for the vocals I sang. And I was never a professional that got paid millions of dollars.

I agree. I sat in the front row at a Prince concert back on the 00s and could clearly see a hand come up from beneath the stage between songs to turn the pages of what was surely Prince's lyrics book lying on the stage floor. So to suggest that an artist is lazy for not knowing all the lyrics to all the songs they wrote over multiple decades is not fair in my opinion.

I saw Dolly Parton live once, and even the between song banter was scripted and on a teleprompter.

Except she didn't sing songs from multiple decades. She only sang 3 songs from the first decade of her career.

She has lyrics for songs from multiple decades in her head. I'm not going to criticize her for needing help remembering lyrics, whether she wrote them one year ago or 31 years ago.
