Heston was terrific in this. It is a complex, morally ambiguous film, and there are great things going on in it. One of the greatest and most under-valued westerns ever made. I'm looking forward to owning it on Blu Ray.

The wait continues for blu-ray editions of Ride the High Country, Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia, Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid, The Ballad of Cable Hogue and The Deadly Companions.
