Default What classic series would you want relaunched/rebooted?

Ok so these past few years we've seen a number of classic television series from the 70s to the 90s being picked up by networks and being reinvisioned/relaunched/rebooted on the big and small screens. With the premiere of the new Knight Rider and some of the subsequent comments in the thread about it I thought I'd throw the question out there for the hell of it. What other classic television series do you think or would like to see get a 21st Century redoing? Go ahead and write in if there's something that I didn't think about in the list.

How about Seaquest and Dark Angel?

But Seaquest is a Universal title, so they'd have to switch first...

im not so sure about allowing them to ruin my classics but some shows that got cancelled that i would love to see brought back are....

dark angel (jessica alba has to come back)
enterprise (i thought this was a refreshing addition to the franchise)
crusade (the babylon 5 spinoff)
baywatch nights (sarcasm)

Up until recently, I have been watching "Buck Rogers In The 25th Century" on DVD, and I've been really enjoying it.

Some of it would certainly need to be updated, but as long as they don't treat it too seriously, a remake could be very cool!!

Also of note is that it is a Universal series, and Universal's the main one doing the remakes (BSG, BW, KR).

They start shooting a Greatest American Hero movie in April, yes it will probably suck

Battlestar Galactica (no, not that space screwing/politics show on SciFi channel)

21 Jump Street (I question how well it'll work in today's climate though)

I'd like to see a retooling of The Starlost. The premise was actually pretty good. A large intergalactic Ark of the last survivors of a dying Earth, seperated by geodesic domes and no knowledge of the other societies on the ship on route to another world to colonise. Unfortunately, the ship's crew are killed off and the ship is on a collision course to the star of the world that they are supposed to colonise.

Unfortunately, the series was marred by bad writing and even worse special effects and didn't last past the first season.

MacGyver of course!

Maybe a spinoff, MacGyver: The Murdock Chronicles.

Good call on that one, Murdock was awesome in that series. I swear he died and came back to life more times than Jean Grey in the Marvel Universe.

Also, good call on this:

I completely forgot about that series. I loved me some Erin Grey. And it makes sense that Universal is behind a good deal of the remakes lately as a lot of these shows were originally NBC properties, or at least they ended up with them after the decades rolled by and they were let go by Paramount/Viacom/CBS/etc.

Oh geez, I didn't vote. I needed to be able to select more than one. I grew up with theses shows and love them all.

Well, the writers just got a new deal. Why don't they do what they get paid for and write something, NEW? Instead of rehashing someone elses classic material.
