Fantastic Four getting REbooted?

It seems yet another comic book franchise is getting a fresh start. IESB.net has heard word that 20th Century Fox is gearing up for a complete reboot of its Fantastic Four franchise.

The franchise is looking to be "less bubble gum" this time round following the Iron Man template, which was a complete success in reviews and box office take but a bit darker when it came to its superhero.

It was also reported that director Tim Story would not return and they will recast the foursome of Mr. Fantastic, The Human Torch, Inivisible Girl, The Thing and Dr. Doom.

Honestly, I don't see how the FF CAN'T be campy and that isn't a bad thing..the campiness of the cartoon and comics fit the style of the superheros perfectly. I didn't think 1 and 2 were terrific movies, but they were entertaining and fairly well done imo. Oh well, tack this on to the never-ending list of Hollywood reboots...
