Paramount will be releasing Trading Places on 4K UHD later tis year for its 40th anniversary! More details coming soon.

One of my top 3 comedies of all time. Let's hope the transfer is decent.

Gotta grab these "problematic" 80's films while we still can and before the pc police cut the movie to ribbons.

4K Jamie Lee Curtis goodness.

And great comedy from Akroyd and Murphy. Lots of great supporting actors as well, a number from early SNL.

Day one if the compression is fine. If not, I will likely just keep the remastered BD.

Interested. But it's Paramount so their authoring house will inevitably bungle it. People who pre-order these releases are braver than I.

I knew when I bought it that we would eventually get the UHD. The Blu-ray seemed to be one of their better PP titles. Hopefully it will carry over.

This will be a crushing disappointment if Paramount mess this one up.

Quite possibly my No 1 comedy of all time and probably the best release announcement of the year (imo).
