Hey everyone! I have made this thread in order to call attention to all of the Scream Factory titles by MGM, as most seem to be on their way OOP.

I have put all OOP or titles announced to be going OOP by Scream/MGM in bold. If I have left one out, incorrectly listed a title as being OOP or you would like to help me add Shout! (or Shout Select) and MGM titles, any help would be greatly appriciated!

These only came out in 2018, so I have to think they'll be around a little while longer surely?

Also, word on the street was that Warner Brothers would be MGM's distribution partner after the Fox buy out. That said, it's possible that some of the currently OOP titles won't stay that way for long.

A few others that are already listed OOP on their site:

Rolling Thunder (has MGM and Orion logos on back)
Crimewave (MGM logo on back cover, Embassy first listed in credit block)
Phantom of the Opera (1989) - MGM and Orion logos on back, 21st Century Films in credit block
The Town that Dreaded Sundown (1976) MGM logo on back

I'm sure there's more, these are just the ones I picked up in time and started noticing all of em had MGM logos.

Warner Bros. is taking over distribution for MGM. We are seeing films that have gone OOP already get new releases, but none of them are reissues so far. For instance Mad Max is transferring from Scream to Kino Lorber.

To Live and Die in L.A is still available, but Shout Factory posted on instagram today that they only have 40 copies left in stock.

I asked Shout about Bill & Ted's Most Excellent Collection on Twitter, and got this response: "We have more on order. You should be able to find it at other retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, etc."

So that one seems to be okay. For now.

I have that one in non-bold. Only the ones in bold are going OOP or are OOP! Thanks for keeping an eye out!
