Sony Pictures will be releasing to Blu-ray the Morgan Creek film Wild America (1997) on January 28, 2020.

This will be a pressed MOD release.

Son of a *****. My wife has been wanting this movie for so long and I just finally bought the expensive dvd for her for Christmas.

I had two friends I knew since I was born that were a few years older (my grandmother and mom and aunts would babysit them) so one was obsessed with JTT and the other with Devon Sawa, so I remember seeing this in theaters lol I vaguely remember it, but I'm interested in revisiting it.

Awesome. It's about time it is. The picture looked good when I saw it on at the time IMDB Freedive that is now IMDB TV.

The dvd transfer's from the first year of dvd releases in 1997 so this should be a pretty significant upgrade.

I saw this DVD in a pawn shop last week in great condition for $1! I was going to go back and get it. Never saw it before, but saw that it was going for $30+ online. And now it's announced on blu. So random.

The DVD from WB didn't have a thing, but this is obviously from a different studio so. I'm going 99.9% sure it's not going to, though. I'd absolutely love to be wrong.

Year round ~$24 pricing after fees for these titles is pretty absurd. Wish Sony would run some kind of sale like Warner does with WAC releases.

apologies for the necropost but i do hope that the PBS show gets its much deserved hd/4k remaster sometime soon

I haven't seen that show in over 15 years, but I used to watch it all the time; my local FOX station ran it immediately before FoxBox/4KidsTV every Saturday morning around 2003-2006.

it's a wonderful show, shame it was dropped from PBS but my local news station has aired it before and i always like to tune in for it.
