Default The Quarry | Supermassive Games

Quote:
When the sun goes down on the last night of summer camp, nine teenage counselors are plunged into an unpredictable night of horror.

The only thing worse than the blood-drenched locals and creatures hunting them are the unimaginable choices you must make to help them survive.

Play as each of the nine camp counselors in a thrilling cinematic tale, where every decision shapes your unique story from a tangled web of possibilities. Any character can be the star of the show—or die before daylight comes. How will your story unfold?

YOUR STORY, THEIR FATE
Will you dare to check what's behind that trap door? Will you investigate the screams echoing from within the forest? Will you save your friends or desperately run for your life? Every choice, big or small, shapes your story and determines who lives to tell the tale.

A STUNNING CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE
Cutting edge facial capture and filmic lighting techniques, combined with incredible performances from an iconic ensemble cast of Hollywood talent, bring the horrors of Hackett’s Quarry to life in a pulse-pounding, cinematic thrill ride.

ENJOY THE FRIGHT WITH FRIENDS
Place your faith in up to 7 friends in online play, where invited players watch along and vote on key decisions, creating a story shaped by the whole group! Or, play together in a party horror couch co-op experience where each player picks a counselor and controls their actions.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR EXPERIENCE
Adjustable difficulty for all gameplay elements let players of any skill level enjoy the horror. And if you prefer to watch rather than play, Movie Mode lets you enjoy The Quarry as a binge-worthy cinematic thriller. Select how you want the story to unfold, kick back, and munch on some popcorn in between all the screams!

Oh man this is a day 1. These are the Until Dawn guys btw. I stopped the trailer halfway through I don't want to know what's going on. Great cast too.

Just pre-ordered it!

Played em all.

Probably will get this. I like the cinematography of Supermassive Games.

June 10th. Wasn’t expecting the release date to be so soon. Game might not be a long experience. Didn’t care for House of Ashes so hopefully this one’s better.

Nice to see what could be a proper follow-up to Until Dawn finally. The Dark Pictures Anthology games seemed to be ok, but it'd nice to see them get back to that game's quality. It definitely feels like it's much more Until Dawn than the anthology.

I'll likely wait on it though. I already have games lined up to play after I'm done with Horizon Forbidden West, and it's price for what will likely be a game that's not very long.

this is coming in June? I like the concept, but it looks pretty rough.. one of the worst facial animation I've seen in a while.

Looks promising. I fairly enjoy the Dark Pictures Games but this seems to be going back to the Until Dawn roots the company seems to be known for.

Yeah June.

I guess they didn’t like publishing under Bandai.

Now they can charge $89.99 here since 2K is publishing.

2K probably offered them more money, and obviously 2K is greedier than Bandai. No other reason to switch publishers since it's not like their games didn't get exposure.

The price is a big reason why I'm waiting on this. Obviously having other games to play is another major reason. I'm still looking forward to playing this at some point though since I loved Until Dawn.
