I have a question about Rock Band... - Blu-ray Forum

Do you have to unlock some of the songs that are on the disk? The reason I ask is that I see a lot of songs in the manual that I cannot seem to select in the game. Songs like Tom Sawyer, Detroit Rock City, Foreplay/Longtime, etc. I want to play them but I cannot seem to find them in the game.

You have to unlock those songs by playing either solo or band mode with at least a medium difficulty. I think those songs are close to the end.

The easiest way to get them out is by way of Medium Solo Tour. But beware, they can pop up any time during a mystery setlist in Band World Tour once you unlock them!

Hehe, Too True. All the songs that you download can pop up anytime in there also. That can make for some wicked hard sets if you're just getting a feel for medium difficulty.

Nothing like picking Expert on Drums early on in Band World Tour only to have a mystery setlist pop up with Won't Get Fooled Again.
