If you can, move your speakers down closer to your TV's level. Especially the Center speaker. It anchors the dialogue and music to the TV. Other than that, looks good. Not sure where you can put the sub though, maybe clear a little spot in the middle of the closet?

The component portion is Great for the Bedroom, minus not having a sub. I would take those quint's and mount then on the wall farther apart and closer to the floor. The center channel definitely needs to come down in front of the TV. Get yourself some zip ties and go to town. Other then that a great little system you have going there.

I automatically respect anyone with an active SNES in their system.

Now if you want to be super-cool like me, get yourself an NES and an Atari 2600.

I've looked at a few moded 2600's. I found one that had been upgraded to S-video AND Component video, optical audio and 200 games for $200.00. Still not sure why I did not jump on that. Maybe because it was on ebay and I was scared.

Well I bought an HD-SUB12 and it should be here friday. So my 5.1 setup will be complete. Also, my friend bought me a Monster Power HDP 2400 as an early B-Day/Christmas present. I just changed a few things up this past week. I'm still cleaning the room, but the setup looks a lot cleaner then it did. Ill be posting some update shots as soon as the subwoofer comes in friday. And then when the HDP 2400 comes in.

Do you mean that much equipment? Or that much random crap? In my own defense, i still live with my parents and this is the only room i have the "freedom" to do anything i want. It's my Inner Sanctum, My Fortress of Solitude, and so on and so forth...

I was referring to the "Stuff" not the equipment..... but like I said... it's whatever works for you

I'm getting ready to add some stuff to shelves in the stairway going to my movie room..... Have MANY things picked out at a local toy shop (all vintage Star Wars stuff) I'm going to try to find better deals on Ebay before I pull the trigger though. The Stuff I looked at would be $500-$600 all mostly "Figures"

yeah.... I know ebay isn't the best, but the local place seems expensive..... not sure what the going rate for these things are either, since I'm not a collector so I never looked at this stuff before....... My parents didn't buy me this stuff when I was a kid unfortunately

Nice job on the 2400. That should help protect things and good start to organizing wires. I need to get my bedroom sub still...

Somebody on the Acoustic Audio Owners thread said that they got there's for $127. The same one i got for $170. The Deep Discount sells them on ebay on buy now/ best offer auctions. make an offer and try to get one cheaper. If you like the brand of course.

Looking at your pics and seeing the Nintendo 64, I have one sitting in my closet collecting dust with the Nintendo Doctor 64. Not many people seem to remember that device, I was able to copy the games onto a cd and play from that. Here is a link Doctor_V64

Thinking about what is collecting dust.

1. The first Playstation, I modded with about 250 games or more in box
2. My first DreamCast
3. An imported DreamCast, with the imported guns for House of the dead
