It's Carpenter, I'm getting it, but I really hope there isn't one of the big deluxe vinyl boxes. I don't want this one taking up that much space, and I definitely don't want to spend that much on this one. I need the space and money for the nice 4k editions of ItMoM, Vampires, and Assault!!

Yes yes yes yes yes yeeeeaaaaaaaaassssssss!!!!!!!!!! The Carpenter completist in me says this is an itch that just had to be scratched. And the soundtrack is definitely oldskool Carpenter goodness, which really helps things along. I try to watch it once a year or so. It's fairly middling in terms of his catalog, but still unmistakably bears his distinct stylistic craftings. Haters, you may now commence to whine.

As others have mused, I wonder what in the nine Hades has happened to the Assault on Precinct 13 uhd project, which has been touted on and off over the last two years. That's a huge hole in the Carpenter uhd catalog that needs plugged fast.

Yep, it's almost comical at this point how long it's taken. I would not be surprised with this VotD announcement that it's next month.
