Default Why wasn't Lucky Luke a success in U.S.?

This French cartoon was spectacularly good as a Western animated series since it captured the feel of the Old West, but regrettably it's mostly forgotten by most.

Today, I watched the 1983 movie (three episodes merged as one) and I loved it, what's more, the Opening Theme Song and Ending Theme Song were in English (while the "movie" I watched it dubbed in Spanish) which shows just how much potential there was. Still is, the animation looks superb especially considering it was hand drawn.

(It doesn't look like a true high def remaster, but better than the old SD versions available)

Opening

Ending

Oh, turns out all 26 episodes were dubbed in English and are available on YouTube.
