I’m not too familiar with Imprint. My guess is these will be region B locked? It looks like they will not be new scans which is unfortunate. I missed out on the OG Odd Couple Blu before it went OOP and I’ve been meaning to pickup The Odd Couple II, but I believe it’s a MOD disc.

This is clearly the way to go it seems regardless and has some nice bonus features.

Imprints are always region free and use whatever scan is available.

I stupidly missed that this was including episodes from the TV series. Hopefully it sells well enough to convince Paramount/CBS to release a complete set in the US. I’d be happy to take a set from Imprint/Via Vision but I don’t think it’s likely.

..i know this may not be the thread to discuss this but anyone here have any opinions about the transfer quality of the Imprint blu-ray release of ''The Out of Towners'' with Jack Lemmon and Sandy Dennis and whether its worth the upgrade from the dvd....dvdbeaver and the reviewer of this website have totally opposing views...thanks for any info..

Review is up now, but it’s pretty harsh. I just finished watching it and the video is pretty poor, but I wanted to see it badly and didn’t mind it as much as I’d never seen it before. Really enjoyed the movie, but if you already own it it’s probably not worth buying this BD.

No issues. Compression and encoding are good across the board. No improvement over the Warner/Paramount Blu from years ago, I think it's the same source, but it seemed comparable. The TV episodes look real nice also.

So for the TV show it's only hand picked episodes and not the full series?

Correct. It was always billed as just a selection of episodes.
