Films You cant watch to the End? - Blu-ray Forum

I just tried and failed for the fourth time to watch 'The Thin Red Line'. It's apparently a fantastic film with a deep message which I fully understand, I can't fault it regarding sound, vision and performances, but it just seems too drawn out.

Has anyone got a film they just can't get through to the end. If not can someone enlighten me as to why I should try for a fifth time!

Even though they are good movies, I have a hard time making it through "Murder on the Orient Express" and Disney's "Hercules".

I too watch every film to the end. Sometimes the ending is the best part.

I haven’t seen this in years not since renting on DVD. I think it was towards near the end when he was standing near or in river that I played it back a few moments again and again, maybe it was the wonderful six-track Dolby stereo mix?

One of the few (only) movies I remember turning off and not finishing intentionaly was The Ring II.

My wife, her brother and I once rented a Uwe Boll film (something Darkness - the one with Christian Slater and Tara Ried) - just so we could make fun of it.

We had a good time for the first half - then it just went from "so bad it's funny" to just "bad". Couldn't even finish it as a joke.

I find it hard not to look at a movie once I sit down to look at it..or even walk out of the theater...no matter how bad it is.
