Imported the Crow Blu-ray from the UK and it DOES NOT work on a Region A player!

Head's up to anyone else thinking of getting it.

I recently had help from this forum about the original Tranformers movie from 1985 on blu ray and I've got some similar questions about The Crow.

Does anyone know if A) It's a region free disc and B) Any thoughts on PQ?

I heard it's definitely not compatible with U.S. players and that the PQ also seems to be very sub par. Wait for a proper U.S. release before getting this one.

Damn I really love that movie. I can only hope it's remastered before it's released here in the states since I been told it's 1080i in Europe.

Dimension theatrically in the U.S. and Buena Vista on home video which means that it will be released by Disney.

its a EIV release and all their blu ray releases from what iv'e heard are'nt that great plus its region B locked so as others have said if you a big fan of the movie i would wait till it gets a proper release.

I think the 1963 version was only in stereo, no surround sound.

It would seem wise to avoid any EIV release that hasn't been already released by a better company, otherwise they make their own rubbish discs instead of porting over the superior release.
