Change In 'Apocalypto' Cover Art? - Blu-ray Forum

I've noticed there's been some changes on the Apocalypto cover-art at Amazon.com, and the price has gone up too. A new transfer or what?

I think they just change the artwork from time to time. I think Pearl Harbor's artwork changed, and quite a few HD DVD's changes as well (all from Universal).

There is no new transfer for Apocalypto, since the movie's PQ is excellent. Actually, this was my first Blu-ray. The cover art is the same, it just appears that they added a bold 1080P definition logo in the bottom. I doubt that the logo is part of the actual case.

Thank god, I'm hoping to buy it and thought they put another transfer out. But why has the price gone up? (I'm gonna buy it anyway, though).

did they delete the "Badder Santa" Version

no its still in there, the removed the "der" as that was probably confusing people.

My guess is that they are slowly phasing out the infamous swoosh design.
