Oh yes!! Been waiting for this one, especially since the Canadian disc is locked. Great film, let's hope it's a great transfer.

Great news, thanks.

Nice to see Warner gain control of this property from the lazy EIV.

This is good news as long as it is released in 1080p and in the original aspect ratio unlike the crappy Canadian release. If so, I will be adding this great film to my Blu-ray library.

The Blu-ray looks great (as it should well bloody do).

I'm sure Mr Pitt would rather we don't see too much of his complexion however as he got some issues with it.

Blu-ray.com just got this letter and take down notice under the DMCA:

We -Schmitzer, Reynolds, Dietz & Kline- speak on behalf Mr Bradley Pitt and would ask that any mention of the aforementioned Mr Bradley Pitt having had surgeries is wholly untrue and his skin and hair is all his own. An action as been set at the District of of New Jersey against https://www.blu-ray.com and Mr Natty.

A copy of court papers has been faxed to your registered office and copied to www.schmitzerreynoldsdietzandkline.com/courtaction-case-blu-raycom/87bhjslq.html

On behalf of Mr Natty we all apologise

With just over a month to go, I am wondering why play.com still have a release date for 4th October.
If anyone is interested the US digibook has been confirmed as region free (just a shame its much more expensive!)

I isn't just Play, HMV have it slated for the 4th too. I'm wondering whether it's been brought forward due to several other high profile releases all arriving on the 25th?

As for Se7en, it looks as though Movietyme have tested it and confirmed it to be region free. I was going to buy the digibook but couldn't justify paying an extra £9 for it.

As far as I've read, both releases have same content.

Mini-review is here by the way - sounds promising:

I'm pretty certain it's the 4th. The digital fix have the release date down for the 4th of October too.

I don't care about extras or any of that. I just want a straight yes or no answer.

Is the UK release of Se7en on Blu-Ray going to have a 100% identical transfer AQ and PQ wise to the US release?

I hate digibooks and would rather import it in the normal case, as long as it has the exact same quality PQ and AQ wise.

Usually, the only difference in Warner/New Line BDs between US and Europe is in which subtitles are included. The actual transfer should be identical.
