Default Amazon Editors' Picks 2008 for Blu-ray

I can't believe that they picked The Italian Job. What's up with that??? The picture quality is terrible.

The list is pretty good but how can they list movies that haven't been released yet.

Edit: Beat to the punch but oh well.

Well, in the case of The Dark Knight and Wall-E, everyone knows they are going to be great.

Especially since it was released in 2006.

I bought Gattaca based on the reviews it got and I almost fell asleep.

Saw I Am Legend at the theatre and was disappointed as well. I wish Will Smith would do something else and expand his creative horizons. All his movies are the same.

I know it wasn't on the list, but I bought Blade Runner as well. Without a doubt the biggest waste of money on Blu-ray for me yet!

Just an opinion guys, no need to go ape on me for my dislikes!

I now know not to rely on your opinion for what movies are good.

I love all of those movies.

What no love for Blade Runner? Shame...Shame... A work of art is what I would call it, almost along the lines of 2001.

Now 2001 is another story. That movie is definately a work of art! But Bladerunner just didn't grab me. Maybe it was all the hype here, there and everywhere.

To be fair, I Am Legend's alternative ending makes the movie 20x better.

Most I've shown it to agree.

One said the second the other ending is more dramatic because Will dies. I see his point. It also makes 99% of the movie before it not make sense.

I'm sorry, but this "top 50 of 2008" thing is nothing more than a shopping list of many of the BLUs that came out in 2008.

There's no real picking here. Show me a Top 10 or possibly 20.

Why not just say, "Here's our top BLUs for 2008" and list every single one.

Boo.
