First off let me say im sorry if this has already been talked about in another thread but this is my first time starting a thread so I will get the hang of it eventually. Ok heres my situation...
I have a PS3 and a Yamaha RX-V2500 receiver and I have been playing my blu-rays in regualr Dolby Digital and DTS because that is what my reciever decodes. But my question is... do I set the movies to play in uncompressed PCM audio and only output 2 channels of high quality (4.5Mbps) sound to my receiver and then turn on the Dolby Pro-Logic II movie setting on my reciever to recreate 5.1 sound? or Do I just let them play at the regualr Dolby and DTS sound at around 448kbps? Which would be better or whats the difference? Thanks for any advice. |
