Best Reciever to use with PS3? - Blu-ray Forum

I am looking to get a new reciever for around $500. I want to find one that has the best 1080p upscaling and pass through for my ps3. It will also be used with my epson projector which I will also be upgrading at a later time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am most concerned with the picture quality seeing that I will be hooking my projector up to it and also the ps3. Thanks

Pioneer 1018 is a great receiver in that price range. I would check that one out for starters.

Like it was said the Pioneer 1018, also the Yamaha 663 & Sony 920 will give the upscaling to 1080p, they are all great receivers. Give them a listen and decide whats for you. If you are going to use an amp in the future the 663 and 1018 have pre-pros.
