Default Paramount already released on Blu-ray on march 11?

When I inserted No country for old men, I saw Paramount Vintage and Miramax film logo before the movie started.

So, Paramount owns Miramax? will this movie be Paramount's first release in 2008?

No and No.

Paramount does not own Miramax. This isn't a Paramount release.

Both studios co-produced the film but Miramax has US distribution rights.

There Will Be Blood is co-produced by the same two studios but Paramount has the US distribution rights.

wrong, mirimax is owned by disney. i think paramount has rights over seas. not uncommon for more than one studio to work on a movie and distributed it differently
