The listing says blu ray, not 4K.

But I wouldn't be surprised if ended up being a 4K. Of course I just bought the blu ray on Friday during the SF sale. It's not even in my hands yet and a 4K is already announced? Lol

So not surprised, seeing as PoD, They Live and Deer Hunter are all distributed by Universal in the US. But before someone says it's only a matter of time before EFNY and The Fog are done by Shout on 4K, the rights for those are with MGM over there and we don't know what's happening with those 4K licenses, we've already seen Kino swoop in and nab Mad Max on 4K after Shout had it on Blu previously.

Nice, I like that Shout is finally giving us the original poster for these movies. Hopefully The Fog and Escape are next. I just ordered Prince during a sale so i'll try to sell it as soon as I receive it. I also received from amazon shout's Escape from New york, I think i'll just send it back and wait for the eventual release of the 4k.
I just hope that for the Fog they don't use the Jamie Lee Curtis fighting the door poster.

Scream Factory lost Escape from New York last month -- the same time their license for Mad Max expired.

Their Blu-ray release of The Fog is, at least for the moment, still in-print. For how long, and if they hold any UHD rights, I have no idea.

Factory / Scream Factory!, joining They Live and Big Trouble in Little China. This edition includes the new UHD 4K/Blu-Ray release of the film, along with an exclusive 7” featuring newly recorded versions of the main theme from the movie and the “Love at a Distance” theme, housed in a lavish, foil-stamped box featuring original art by Chris Bilheimer.
