Umm yeah, I just purchased the This Is It album and it had a paper showing the Blu-ray to This Is It. It doesn't have much information just shows the cover which is the over used poster & soundtrack cover. It says coming soon. Also it says "Never before seen footage" on it. Finally It says for more information go to michaeljackson.com. I'm def. buying this

i've been a big fan for years so i'm sure i'll add it to my blu-ray concert collection. i hope they do it right with a lossless soundtrack.

UK release is Jan 2010. So likely US release is about the same.

Extras on this could be spectacular, considering they stated more than once that they have 100+ hours of footage..

For me This Is It will be an HD rental on HBO or one of the other services.

I will always be a fan of Michael Jackson, but I would rather remember him as the superstar that he was in his heydey.

They reviewed it on the news tonight and they said that the company told them to expect the DVD by the holidays. So maybe it will come earlier!

Not seeing this in theatres, so the BD could be appealing. I'll consider it unless they overprice. Throw in a steelbook and I don't know if I could resist, though.

Just got back from the midnight showing. It was fantastic. I mean the show he would have put on is just incredible. A definite must buy when it is released.

Yeah, I can't wait to see it... I can only imagine. My brother used to rent the old music videos from BBV and we would pop them in the VCR and learn his moves. Been a dancer ever since! His music is so good, I don't care what song it is. When that beat drops, it's showtime! "This Is It" on Blu should be amazing!

Day ONE for me, for sure. Yee-eeh!

Anyway seems to be some controversy about the releasedate now. But I honestly cant imagine that it would not be here for a x-mas release. It would make the perfect x-mas gift and, after all, its all about the money.

It would only make sense to me that they wont announce a releasedate for December when the movie hardly aired in the cinema yet, it could stop people from going (and just waiting for the dvd/bd instead).

Anyway, cant find anything about extra scenes up there. Unfortunately. There should still be some good stuff though, but I was expecting a lot of extra footage.

A friend just pointed this out to me, I don't check this forum very often lol...

I just seen the movie last night, and I will definitely be getting it. Probably one of the first and few movies where I'll be sure to watch every second of the special features.

I usually skip those for the Hollywood hub-bub....

It's from Columbia Pictures so it will definitely have a lossless track.
I will pick this up for sure, the snippet of Human Nature from the trailer is awesome so far, can't wait to see the rest.

Looks like some great special features included on the Blu-ray.
