Its up for preorder already on the umbrella shop. If you want the hardbox version with extra disc and collectors book, that version is exclusive to the umbrella shop. The regular version should be available elsewhere in a couple months.

I grew up on this and I genuinely enjoy it ! Will def be buying the standard 4K; but I will never spend over $30 for a 4K

Considering Hollywood Pictures put out both Super Mario Bros. and The Joy Luck Club in 1993, Umbrella should upgrade the latter as well.

This and Battlefield Earth belong in a double feature set.

$150 is a big ask for a movie like this. I don't ever remember this being good when I saw it as a kid

on their shop now they got $33, $75, and $100 editions (in US dollars).

The $75/$100 versions have an exclusive extra disc, hardbox, etc; $100 adds a few other knick knacks more than the $75. But if you dont want that stuff in the shop exclusive more expensive versions, the $33 one will be available everywhere in a couple months.

It doesn't look like this will have the excellent hour long making of retrospective that the Second Sight disc had... It's worth buying the film just for that.

After taking my son to see the new animated version I told him about this one. It piqued his curiosity and he has been bringing it up a lot ever since. Unfortunately, I promised him I would buy it if it ever got a UHD release. This movie is ****, but a promise is a promise.

Or pesos and quarters judging by the number of times I found both in a cash drawer when I worked retail.

Yes it will -- "This Ain't No Video Game" (55 min) is listed on the Umbrella bonus disc, among several new features.

And yes, it's confirmed region-free in the other thread (and on Umbrella's Twitter).
