Neat. It's slightly amazing to me that the US still hasn't seen a release of their own, but knowing this is on the horizon pretty much scratches that itch now as I'll simply import this when the time comes.

No, only exists in SD NTSC from a workprint VHS.

Maybe they can ask Disney for the negatives of the deleted scenes or something.

Not sure what your rule is for, but if it means anything, my umbrella BD copy of the movie works just fine in a region A player.
