I had to see it the last 6 or so times I went to the theatre and I’m tired of it.

I think it looks good. I think Hilary picks and choses what she wants and has good taste. She was in a little known ABC show called 'Alaska Daily' which I thought was very good though not action packed like some might expect. She was basically playing a Lois Lane type character.

My wife was interested in seeing this so I went along for the ride. All in all, it was a little better than I expected although it is a by the numbers telling of a true story; all of which we have seen before. The story is moving and there is some faith based referencing but it doesn't hit you over the head and is presented in a rather subtle way. Swank is never boring and doesn't disappoint playing an over the top, rather colorful character but the real surprise here is Ritchson (yes, it's Reacher!). He is actually quite good as the anguished father, in over his head, and never hits a fake note throughout the endeavor. Up to now, Ritchson has been known primarily for playing action roles but the man can act.

Point blank, I'm an atheist and only went to see this because I've been a Hilary Swank fan for over 20 years but I agree with your assessment. The film really was never preachy and Alan Ritchson, an actor I'm unfamiliar with, matched Swank the whole way through. Straightforward and safe but made with a lot of heart and goodwill. This irreligious viewer liked it just fine and
[Show spoiler]I'm very happy the way things all worked out in the end and that Sharon and Ed remain friends to this day

I'm not religious my self and was a bit worried they would go overboard (due to seeing the trailer) but that wasn't the case. Swank did an excellent job and I really enjoyed the film. Ritchson is proving to be a good actor. His character in this is quite different from his Jack Reacher portrayal and shows he is more than just an action star, but I'm still looking forward to him kicking ass in the upcoming The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. I just read on the internet her net worth is somewhere between 60 and 70 million dollars. If she actually only has half that, yeah she can do what she wants.

I’m interested in this.

My daughter is growing out of the animated movie stage, but we don’t care for her to watch many of the PG-13 movies. It’s tough to find PG movies that aren’t animated.

I like Swank and the Reacher actor and usually enjoy true story, faith-based movies. Might be fun to watch this at the theater over spring break.

Depending on your daughter's age she may find it boring. It is strictly drama that lasts nearly two hours. A Very good film but not sure how kids would react to it.

Yes, I was thinking that also after seeing the trailer.
