Even though Wish was a retail exclusive, it wasn't really priced high compared to other retail exclusive steels. Deadpool & Wolverine was supposed to be the first release that was actually Sony, so maybe IO2 was only steelbook because of Disney being stupid without DMC, it was likely planned before Sony came on board. Hopefully. Because I don't like steelbooks and hate having to pay more for something "collectible" that I don't even want to collect lol At least the D+ shows are long enough to make up for the price somewhat.

Pixar selectively renders shots at 4K where they think it will benefit from the additional resolution. The rest of the movie is rendered at 2K. However, when you factor in importance sampling, denoising, machine learning and everything else that goes into rendering an image its arguable how much real resolution is present in any CG image.

Anyway, the Moana 2 home release is not being derived from a 2K DCP. It has its own 4K master.

No, that will be on a later date.

It felt a lot like the first one. My family and I still enjoyed it though! Will be buying it.
