Moderator should NOTIFY - Blu-ray Forum

We are starting getting more threads like that. am concerned for blu-ray.com and members!

How about doing the moderator a favor and using the search funtion before posting something that has been posted 30 times already?

and i dont see no change from this site? People are talking about it so i wanted to voice my opinion as well, i apologize if there were thread about it and i didnt find it.

I think that the mods do a fine job here. Just think about what they have to do and watch for.

I do agree that so many threads are started after another one has been up and running, just a different title and I am glad that they close it down.
So many new members coming on and not using the search funtion or the general population not taking the time to look and see if threads have been started already on a topic. It has gotten worse as more and more people come on board and I guess it is to be expected, but don't blame the mods, I am glad they are here.

I would imagine if it was deleted, an explanation is probably necessary but my guess would be the OP knows why it got deleted or most likely moved to their"administrative forum"

my thread was moved into other thread and i couldnt find it, i felt that moderator should had let me know where it went or was deleted..

I dunno if my thread were deleted, i never check because i dont care. I m not saying mods are doing bad job! Im glad there moderators taking care of blu-ray.com Im concerned because people are telling me about it. I wanted to hear more other side of story!

respect is respect you know? However, there was a moderator sent me email letting me know that he took down one of my picture in some hd dvd losing thread. I felt it was nice of him doing that. He has my respect.

Yeah its common courtesy to say hey I deleted your thread because of such n such... but they dont wanna put up with people bickering or talking shit back in PMs so they just ignore you in that aspect.

However, it does suck when your spending extra time searching your old thread to follow up and then you finally realize, hell, it musta been deleted.

Oh well, catch 22.

Threads aren't usually deleted unless they are multiple threads by the same person (usually because a new users is trying to post a link and it gets moderated, so they post it over and over). When a thread becomes a problem, it is moved, not deleted, to a part of the site not visible to users. This is so if there is a question regarding to why it was moved, it can be looked into by the admin.

I had one thread get deleted and I received a very nice PM from the mods...no problems here.

I definitely see a pattern of confusion when threads are moved though. A couple of mine have been merged.
