Regal Crown Club - Poster Discussion

My "Keanu" poster arrived from Regal Crown Club (3,500 Points + $8 Shipping). Some people had asked about the quality of the posters and/or condition they arrive in so I figured I would share some photos.

They arrive in a "U-Line" heavy cardboard tube. Unfortunately, they just squeeze each end of the tube together and tape over them. The poster is not in a plastic bag leaving the poster potentially exposed to the elements. In addition, both ends of the poster gets squeezed by the ends of the tube. If you are a collector, I would say that ordering posters through RCC is a great risk.

As for the poster itself, it has a reverse print on the back, I assume this is for backlighting purposes? This is the first movie poster I have purchased.

Yeah, the double sided ones are the same ones you see at the theater.

Just realized about a week ago that I had almost 5,000 points with the Regal Crown Club. Since then, I've looked over their site for potential rewards but it seems like all the cool stuff is always sold out. Is there a specific date when they put up rewards for a particular film? Like, if a movie opens on a Friday, do they put up the rewards for that film on the Monday before or something like that?

It's $8 for shipping, but you can get as many posters for that charge. I've been doing 3 per shot to cut down on costs

Shipping quality is YMMV, 1st shipment had edge wear. 2nd shipment was much better almost DMR level.

Well, If that's the case. I guess it's not that bad then.

Do they accept PayPal too? or only credit/debit cards?

I'm also curious when Regal posts new rewards up on their site, because I'm interested in what they'll have for Civil War, Apocalypse, and Suicide Squad coming up. Some of the BvS merch is still in stock, some of the cooler items OOS already.

At worst, I'd just keep reminding myself to check the site once on a daily basis.

I'm sure they will have 27x40 theater poster and T-Shirts. Likely even hats too.

I should have a good amount of points then soon. I know with seeing so many movies. You progress to a different points level each time.

Like JLF said, sign up for free either from their site, or to get the card quicker, you can do it at the theater too, and you'll get the card that day I believe. Once activated, you can apply it right away to your ticket purchase as well as concessions to attain points. Also, if you have a FandangoVIP account (free to set up), you can buy your tickets for Regal theaters online in advance and it'll apply your Regal Crown Club card number automatically to earn you whatever points for that purchase.

Yeah, you get the card right away. I always see people asking if they wanna join and hand them the card right away.

I joined for the first time last month and I'm already at 10,000 points. It's a nice easy system, I use the app to scan my card and it's also linked to my fandango.

I'm sad the Allegiant shirt sold out on me tho :-(

I got 3 posters from Regal Crown Club and they came around the same condition as yours. Disappointed that it doesn't use the white plastic protectors on both sides like DMR does. Still 27x40 posters are harder to get as movie merch and Regal's new rewards program is excellent.

So I asked this before but I'll ask again. Anybody having issues getting to the rewards center? I can log into my regal account, but when I go to redeem credits, it logs me out when I'm at the rewards store. Rinse and repeat. Anybody have a fix to this, or perhaps its a browser issue?

I think I'm sitting around 30000 points right now. I can't spend any of them though. Their website has an issue and is unable to charge any of my credit cards. I even tried a friends and it didn't work. Sometimes they have decent rewards up there that even if I'm not interested in they will sell for north of $50 on ebay.

For whatever its worth they just added Barbershop, Criminal, and The Jungle Book products today. Going by this info, it seems they release items when the movie is a day or two before it releases.

Yeah, that's what I thought. So gotta wait like another month or more yet. I guess that just allows me to get more credits then.
