Default VGA cables, are they all alike? Help Please :D

Although I admit to knowing a decent amount about HDTV, when it comes to the fine details on cables and all that jazz. That is why I need help. I just bought a 26" Sony Bravia TV the other day ( Model # KDL26ML130) and use it as both a computer monitor and to watch TV. Question is right know I just have it hooked up with a VGA cable that i have had a for a while that I used for my other Dell monitor. What I need to know is are all VGA cables alike in quality and other areas, or are some better than others. Any if anyone else has any other comments about how to tweak this or that with the hookup let me know I would greatly appreciate it.

afaik, no differences. there might be some better shielded cables and what not, but it prob won't make a difference in signal transmission.

Depends on length - VGA is not 100% digital (if it is, then there would be no point to using DVI), so shielded/non-shielded will make a difference, especially for really LONG cables. Of course, in real world application, unless you plan on having a 20 ft+ cable, most VGA cables will work fine.

Thanks. I don't have DVI output on my computer which really sucks so im stuck with VGA until I get a better computer or video card or whatever haha.
