Looks like I was mistaken. I thought the end credits sequence in Pearl was related to that film, not this sequel.

This sounds somewhat similar to Pearl's story, at least from the trailer.

Gotta say, this trilogy is turning out to be something really special.

I didn't give a hoot about "X" when it was first coming out, but now all of this and this is a pretty happening thing, overall.

Absolutely. Hopefully all three by 2023. 80’s synth, Mia Goth, a story of trying to make it big in Hollywood. Sounds like a perfect trilogy closer to me.
