That's silly because everyone knows it's dead now.

Go to any forum that's heavy with HD DVD fellas and just snoop around.

No one believes in HD DVD anymore.

It should be on dead watch.

I'm not trying to be petty, but I am sick to death of people referring to the PS3 as a Blu Ray trojan (was mentioned in the engatget article also).

A trojan horse is an underhanded trick. Did people call the PS2 a DVD trojan? No? Did Sony do something wrong putting a DVD drive in the PS2? No. Would they have been making a monumentally STUPID decision not putting a DVD drive in the PS2? Yes. Would they have been making a monumentally STUPID decision not putting a Blu Ray drive in the PS3? Yes. To refer to the PS3 having a blu ray drive as a trojan is just insulting, misguided, and plain wrong.

I actually bought my PS2 secondarily for a DVD player use, as I was away during the week for work, and didn't have a DVD player and was getting sick of the situation. So I got a PS2 for watching movies and playing games.
