DVDSpot is a free website for cataloguing discs. They also keep statistics on discs owned by their users.

HD DVD / Blu-ray Ownership
57% / 43%

As you can see Blu-Ray is trailing HD-DVD. If you want a great place to catalog discs then create a free account and add the ones you own. Lets try to wrestle the lead away from HD-DVD crowd. (Please add only the ones you own.)

It was a pain in the ass... But I did it. Blu-ray is now over by 20.

I have been a memeber of dvdspot for a long time also. I went through their database and found all the blu-ray titles that were on the site. I then added a bunch of the missing titles to make things easier for new users.

I know try to keep track of all new additions. I have one list of titles owned and a wishlist with everything else in it. It appears that there are 3 titles that I cannot find on the site.

Thanks everyone for responding. A big thanks to those who have migrated over. It's good to hear others here have used the site and have positive feedback. I like how they have thihgs set up and wish I knew about it earlier.

Actually, we are still behind. This site is pretty big so I think it will take a few more of us to make the move or maybe they recalculate every so often. We'll see.

These are the numbers to take keep an eye on:
HD DVD / Blu-ray Ownership
57% / 43%

The other numbers being quoted above are for titles in their database.
The titles include foreign films and films which were re-released. They use the UPC numbers not just the film titles. That's why the titles are 305 HD-DVD to 325 Blu-Ray.

For those who haven't tried them please do.

I don't know if this is futile or not. Simply put, hardly anyone enters their BD titles. Casino Royale BD only logged owned by 179 members. I'll still input titles... However, I know about 4,821 people here who could follow suit (assuming that everyone on this forum has CR on BD

).

I agree. I setup a filter called blu-ray and added my titles to it. I just have to remeber to add new titles to the filter when I add them to the site.
