New FW for Denon 3808Ci? - Blu-ray Forum

I'am in Canada/US and i check each 2 week for FW update.. I just checked and there's a whole new DSP1/DSP2 (main software) update installing now... i did an install in December.. i don't know witch version it is to maybe i'am late in the news LOL!

At the risk of being blastphemous, have you check out the 3808 thread on AVSforum? It's got tons of information.

Yeah that's the problems.. it's so chaotic it doesn't make any sense anymore.. (The thread is too big)

Just go in the thread and do a search for "firmware" there is nothing chaotic about that

LOL yeah i know.. but did you see the thread of the Denon 3808ci..

anyway it's complete now... i don't know what version i have.. people seems to have 1.57 in the latest post...

Anyway i'am glad i did it.. i got my MP3TAG info in NetRadio back (was in when i bought it and they removed it and now it's back) so i'am happy

How does one update the firmware on a receiver; via a file on a USB flash drive, or via your LAN since the 3808 supports that?

via LAN .. Manual Setup --- Option --- Firmware Update

There's a new update 1.69 available since yesterday...
