gamestop/eb games or pawn shops, I would look around for who gives best prices. might be worth doing some one place and others at another.

You should keep them except for the ones you buy on blu. The PS3 will upconvert. Also, if you have a portable player in your vehicle (for the kids) and laptop or portable DVD for those long plane rides, you should keep the standards you like for that equipment until all is upgraded to blu.

ebay, craigslist.. or just keep most of them.
Sure Blu-ray looks SOOOOO much better than DVDs, but how many of hose 300 DVDs do you have are out on Blu-ray too? Probably not many.
Why not just give away or sell on ebay the DVDs you already have BDs of, and keep the DVDs you don't think are worthy of an HD transfer (like so many anime DVDs I have lol). Heck, I gave away my repeat DVDs at Halloween and Christmas parties last year as prizes. Best costume got to pick which movie they wanted. It was a big hit! Some of the titles were relatively new too, like Superman Returns.

I'd consider keeping them until each individual title is replaced on blu. No way am I getting rid of my standard dvd collection, it took too many years to build up. They look better than they ever have upconverted on the PS3 (despite being a "gimmick feature", they really do look a bit nicer), so I'll just replace them one by one as I am able to.
