Default What does Paramout, Universal and WB do now?

Now that the war is over, what should Universal, Paramount and Warner Brothers do about all of the pending releases of HD DVD movies? I think they should scrap them before they hit the market. I am aware the Warner Brother will cease all production of HD DVD titles in the coming months, but at this time at least one blockbuster, I am Legend, slated to be released on both formats.

I think the ones that are pressed up and packaged will get released for obvious reasons, if retailers will accept them :P

Any not pressed up will just be scratched.

And ultimately, some stuff will be recycled. HD-DVD should market the remaining inventory of their players as up-convert players so they can get rid of them.

Unless they have contracts, I would imagine any movies not yet pressed won't be released.

Yeah, the pressed stuff from Uni & Para I'm sure may get a limited release. I bet WB just dumps any and all HDDVD plans they head.

Warner has been faithfull to it's customers in the past, so I expect them to release as promised. We all know how Paramount treats there customers so I expect them to stop whenever they want to. Universal is tough, but I expect they want no ill will from their customers, and will ship certain titles as promised.

yeah, warner might as well release on hd dvd up until twister...theyve been working on it, so might as well get some money out of it, no matter how little.

looking at it tho, not many hd dvd releases slated in the upcoming weeks/monthsish....so....

considering all of the work that has been done on Warner's part, I'm not shocked that the company will fulfill its promise to the consumers.
