I've been reading the book "The Wes Anderson Collection".



Here's an interesting quote:

Wes Anderson (talking about Rushmore & Bill Murray):

"We didn't have so much money, and we probably proposed some deal, and I think he said, "Just give me my SAG day rate." So he ended up doing it for not $375,000 or something as the reduced price. He ended up doing it for like nine thousand dollars.
He did it for zip. He had a good profit participation, but he essentially said, "This is pro bono."
