Post Now that Universal has crossed over to the Blu side...

I just hope that, on all of their releases, Universal won't do Blu-ray/DVD combo discs like their newest and latest releases on HD-DVD combos such as "The Bourne Ultimatum" and "American Gangster"!

Correct, "combo" Blu-ray/DVD discs for Blu-ray can't currently be produced. Personally, I think the combo disc was a good idea especially for family titles who have a higher need to play the movie on DVD players, too. (Car, kid's room, portable DVD, etc.) But I guess the studios probably would like to sell two copies instead, for even more profit.

yes, you can. blu-ray never did it because of the cost. those hd dvd combos were more expensive than bd50s.

i think combo discs wouldn't be a bad thing, if there was no bugs with the discs, if they could be produced cheaply. i wouldn't mind being able to watch my blu-rays in something other than my ps3.

I feels so good. Blu-ray owners are now going to be rewarded for not buying into HD DED.
BTW...combos in any format SUCK!
