Awesome. I don't buy a ton of new movies, but this one made an impression. Will definitely pick it up.

I assume it will be an identical disc across all countries where MUBI has the rights to it (US, UK, Germany, etc).

UK only getting Blu for now no 4k but may come later on.
I wont be waiting. Will get euro version if English friendly or US

So happy this is getting a US 4K Release! This seems like the king of awesome film that only gets a German 4K mediabook release. Day 1 for sure.

Day 1 for me when The Substance is available to purchase via PVOD.

I took my parents to see this movie (yes, my parents are that cool), and we all agreed Demi Moore, Dennis Quaid, and Margaret Qualley knocked it out of the park.

I won't get into spoiler territory, but all I will say is that, even if you have a strong stomach for gore, there are some scenes that were genuinely hard to watch and nightmare-inducing. That being said, I understand why the gore/violence was dialed up to an 11; this movie sends the PERFECT message of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Happy to see this getting a 4K release out the gate. Can't get to the theater so a UHD is always my hope when I finally watch it.

MUBI announced that the film will be available for streaming on Halloween. No idea whether it's just one day or longer.

So ****ing excited for this one on 4K. I also don't buy a lot of physical film releases anymore unfortunately but this is one I'll grab day one, no question.
