It's great that the only theater near me playing the R.E./Passengers double feature during the promo timeframe isn't even a Regal. No wonder they are willing to give out the digitals for free lol.

This is the most bizarre thing! Like, there is only one theater in the Raleigh, NC area even showing Passengers and Resident Evil and they are actually doing them as a double feature! I mean, horror and sci-fi, yeah, but to have Cinemark doing an actual double feature (with no other double features in the area) outside of a deal that apparently can't even be redeemed by any one film through a local Regal is almost like some orchrestrated elaborate ballbusting by the two chains.

We'll have to see (the double feature isn't playing near me, but I booked a ticket for my brother in Ohio to see the films and get the digital copies for cheap), but I assume it will be UV. There was a similar Regal promotion with free The Ring Two with tickets to Rings, and I got an HD UV copy.

The codes for Passengers and Resident Evil were sent out today (not redeemable yet though). They are definitely UV.

These were Sony movies I believe, so the UV only aspect may not carry over to the other promos.

Thanks OP! I'm actually going to try and get those 4 sony movies. I was thinking about a new promo coming out soon and right in time.
It seems the promos are staggered one right after another.
The Disney one technically ends this Fri with rls of Cars 3 and this one brings Fri.
Has that been the case of the prior 3 promos?
