It's great that the only theater near me playing the R.E./Passengers double feature during the promo timeframe isn't even a Regal. No wonder they are willing to give out the digitals for free lol.

This is the most bizarre thing! Like, there is only one theater in the Raleigh, NC area even showing Passengers and Resident Evil and they are actually doing them as a double feature! I mean, horror and sci-fi, yeah, but to have Cinemark doing an actual double feature (with no other double features in the area) outside of a deal that apparently can't even be redeemed by any one film through a local Regal is almost like some orchrestrated elaborate ballbusting by the two chains.
