Since I love the Life is Strange series, I'm definitely all for this game. Hopefully it turns out to be pretty good.

That looks more Life is Strange than Life is Strange!

^ That's what I just posted in the adventure games thread having completely forgotten about this game and my comment last year above that it looks more LIS than LIS lol.

New trailer looks great, I definitely want to play this now!

Pros
+Fiercely earnest story of girlhood with the joys and drama of being a teenager with a brilliant supernatural mystery thrown in
+Creating mini-films with the camcorder creates bursts of creativity but also acts as an important story device
+Deliciously lavish audio and visuals, this is a game where you want your graphic settings turned up to eleven

If you have been a longtime fan of Don’t Nod’s repertoire of games, then Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is a great addition to the studio’s titles. However, the narrative sets up more than it answers in part one, making the experience frustrating by the time it’s over. For the start of the Lost Records universe, “Bloom” presents incredible scenery amidst a lukewarm story driven by self-discovery and mystery. In the end, the game doesn’t capture the full sunset of what is to come but sets up a story that has the potential to show its true colors.

I'm going to get it once both parts are out, looking forward to it.

Anyway here's my post on completing Life is Strange: Double Exposure, since there literally isn't a thread for it.

I guess another one will be coming.

For Lost Records I am definitely going to play that but I will wait until both parts are out first.

Been playing the physical edition with both tapes this week. I don't like how much stuff you have to "film" trophy wise, but otherwise I'm mostly digging it. It's a little frustrating I can't play the way I want because I have to keep positive relationships with everybody or there are missable trophies. The atmosphere is pretty cool and the music is great. And it's cool that you can affect the present in all the flashbacks. Hopefully I'll be further along next week.

I started the game a few days ago too. I agree that all the video camera recording can feel a little tedious. So far, the game feels a bit slow for me...almost like they are holding back the mystery a bit too much in an effort to slowly tease it all out. But I'm keeping an open mind since the people behind this game did make Life is Strange.

I'm on Tape 2 now. My biggest problem so far is I have to try to play it a certain way or there are missable trophies. I'm probably going to just have too play this again anyway. Although this is major cringe at times with s unfortunate. However for the most part, I'm still enjoying it. Some parts are also super creepy btw.

Finished and platted. it turned out they patched everything to not be missable. So just had to d a quick cleanup in the end and didn't need another playthrough.
[Show spoiler]But I'm mostly upset that was not able to romance Kat like I was going for and she had the worst relationship of the 3 with me in the end. Nora is the one who fell for me. Also I got the band ending where you're alone, that kind of sucked.
I'm temped to go through it again and make "better" choices. It will be nice not having to film everything. I've moved on to Clair Obscur though, for now. Maybe in a few months, or like next year or something.
