Hoping this means more will be coming. Paramount stopped after Blue Hawaii. There are still several movies from their library I'd love to see on BD including Girls Girls Girls and G.I. Blues.

I'm hoping to see this listed at some of the boutique stores soon. I suspect because it's still over 2 months away they haven't hit listings yet.

Ok, now I'm getting concerned. Could there be some contract keeping this from being sold in the U.S.? So far boutique labels have pre-orders up for other ViaVision/Imprint titles but no sign of this one.

That would be my guess. Maybe a deal with one of the songs?

"Loving You" is one of my fave Elvis Films and I guess it's all wrapped-up in Legal crapola.

I would think that is a possibility except that another title "The Matchmaker" is facing the same neglect. No pre-order at any U.S. boutique. And to be honest, even if Kino were to release both of these, I would prefer the packaging of the ViaVision release. They are more visually appealing to me.

I would also LOVE to see "Loving You" released on BD! Sadly, it sounds like a new restoration was struck but they are unable to release it due to the legal crap you mentioned. His movies are not being considered viable anymore here in the U.S. which I think is just plain wrong.

I noticed that. Looks really nice! Can't wait to see this on BD! The dvd is the worst one of the bunch where Paramount's Elvis films are concerned. Faces are actually pixelated but this didn't happen with the other films on DVD. So I'm relieved to be getting a remaster on this one. Fun movie! Watched it again last summer hoping we'd see a BD in the future.
