Castro was a big fan of HD DVD...he just couldn't handle the fact that Toshiba was calling it quits.

Ironically, I watched Andy Garcia's The Lost City on Blu-ray on Sunday afternoon. It was all about a family living in Havana on the eve, and just after, the Revolution that brought Castro to power in Cuba. Fine movie. A bit long was my only complaint (I expected it to end but it kept going in several places). But a fine cast (including Bill Murray and Dustin Hoffman) and beautifully photographed. Garcia not only wrote and directed the film, he provided the music.

I kinda didn't see that coming.

Castro: Dammit, I've been upstaged. Give me back the captain's chair!
Castro's bro: ˇNO!

Just in:
Red fans have a source that the new CEO (if Fidel Castro was the CEO) will continue supporting HD-DVD.

Default Was Castro...

working for TOSHIBA? He resigned as president and toshiba announced defeat! Was he HD DVD supporter in CUBA? Hell, His retirement home will have blu players and cursing at Toshiba watching blu-ray movies!

History, it will be remembered that hd dvd is dead on the day Castro resigned as president, ABOUT TIME for both!

If Castro is backing HD DVD, wouldn't that make him Infidel Castro?

Just saying.
